Hello! I have been working in child welfare for over 20 years. I am currently a School Social Worker for Utica Community Schools in Sterling Heights, MI. I also provides CE courses for social workers licensed in the state of Michigan and provide dynamic presentations focused on the issues of self-injury and suicide. My area of focus and expertise is in working with adolescents and specifically those struggling with self-injury, low self-esteem, relationship problems, anxiety and depression. I have worked with children in residential treatment programs, in alternative education, at empowerment camps for boys and girls, and as a individual and couples therapist at Advanced Counseling in Taylor and St. Claire Shores, Michigan.
